Senior in college working on her second bachelor’s degree at Central Michigan University

Lois Reeves is a senior in college working on her second bachelor's degree at Central Michigan University. From Grand Blanc, Michigan, Lois has lived with food allergies since she was eight months old. Additionally, she has lived with environmental allergies, asthma, and eczema.

She became involved in Food Allergy Advocacy in college by assisting students at her former high school in presenting a campaign project called EpiStrong. Epistrong supported making EpiPens widely available in public locations, such as restaurants and schools. EpiStrong was presented at the HOSA- Future Health Professionals Conference in 2018, and advanced onto the Statewide Conference in Michigan. During this time, Lois also worked with local elementary students by promoting the Teal Pumpkin Project, teaching children about allergen-free Halloween treats.

Lois has recently graduated from Central Michigan University with her first bachelor’s in Music Theatre. She is currently working on a food allergy awareness and advice blog called “The No-Peanut Table OG” which is set to go live in October 2020.
