A reimagining of the annual FARE Food Allergy Summit, these events bring resources directly to food allergy families in more communities, to provide education and opportunities to connect closer to home.

Kansas City, Missouri
July 18, 2026
The regional events series launched July 18 with a free Back-to-School event at the Kansas City Public Library’s Plaza Branch where more than 100 attendees gathered for educational programming, practical resources, and community connection. The event was made possible through the 15 and FARE initiative, a partnership between FARE and 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, which expands access to food allergy education, awareness, and resources to families in the Kansas City area.
Stanford, California
August 22, 2026
FARE’s Regional Summit: Real Talk. Real Solutions. event will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Stanford Faculty Club on the Stanford University campus. Designed for caregivers, adults living with food allergy, tweens and teens aged 11 and older, the summit will feature expert-led educational sessions, practical strategies for navigating everyday life with food allergy, and opportunities to connect with others in the community. Speakers will include: Sharon Chinthrajah, MD, Stanford University School of Medicine; Tina Sindher, MD, Stanford University School of Medicine; Melissa Engel, MD, Northwestern University, CFAAR (Center for Food Allergy & Asthma Research); Christopher Warren, PhD, Northwestern University, CFAAR (Center for Food Allergy & Asthma Research); and Kelly Cleary, MD, MPH.

THIS IS A 21+ EVENT
For many in the food allergy community, baseball stadiums can feel more stressful than exciting because of peanuts, cross contact concerns, and limited safe food options. This unique event transforms that experience by bringing together food allergy safety, expert education, and community with the excitement of a Red Sox vs. Dodgers game.
The evening will begin with an engaging panel discussion featuring renowned food allergy experts Dr. Michael Pistiner and Dr. Wayne Shreffler from Mass General Hospital, moderated by FARE's Medical Director, Dr. Kelly Cleary. Together, they'll explore the real-life challenges young adults with food allergies face, from navigating social situations, dating, dining out, and increasing independence to managing mental health, transitioning to adult care, and the latest advances in food allergy treatment and management. Throughout the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical advice from leaders in the field.
Following the panel, attendees will enjoy the Red Sox vs. Dodgers game while networking and building connections with other young adults in the food allergy community. Attendees will enjoy top-9 allergen-free cocktails, dinner, and game-day snacks in a welcoming, food allergy-friendly environment, demonstrating that living with food allergies doesn't mean missing out on iconic experiences.
