On April 26, 2017, 600 supporters of FARE attended the 18th Annual FARE New York Spring Luncheon at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Nearly $900,000 was raised to improve the quality of life and the health of individuals with food allergies, and provide them hope through the promise of new treatments.

The Legacy Award was presented to Roxanne and Amanda Palin for their commitment to FARE and to raising awareness of the seriousness of food allergies. WABC-TV news anchor Ken Rosato, who is personally affected by food allergies, was the master of ceremonies. We were honored to be joined by the family of 11-year-old Oakley Debbs, who tragically died of an allergic reaction last fall. The Debbs created the Red Sneakers for Oakley movement to raise awareness about food allergies and anaphylaxis. FARE is grateful to everyone who contributed to this year’s luncheon, especially to the many volunteers who dedicated their time to the event’s success.
