Amber Arias

As FARE's Senior Manager of Community Engagement, Amber plays a vital role in managing relationships with organizations involved in our Health Equity portfolio. Key programs under her purview include FARE Neighborhoods locations in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, Health Equity Advisory Council, community health worker resource management, and the Girl Scouts Program. Amber, a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from George Washington University, has committed her career to creating positive change in underserved communities.
Her extensive background in working with nonprofits has provided her with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities and the importance of equitable healthcare access. Amber's academic journey took her to the United Kingdom and Jamaica, where she gained valuable insights working across diverse healthcare programs and institutions.
Now residing in Virginia, Amber is an avid traveler and plant enthusiast. In her free time, you'll find her exploring new destinations, nurturing her impressive collection of plants, and staying active with Pilates.
