The First Annual FARE Connecticut Fall Luncheon was Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Greenwich Country Club.  The successful event raised nearly $90,000 to benefit FARE, a national nonprofit organization with the mission of improving the quality of life and the health of individuals with food allergies, and providing them hope through the promise of new treatments.  

Hillary Carter (pictured left) and Julie Karish (pictured right, photo: Elaine Ubiña) were recognized for their accomplishments and civic leadership.

Jenny Andjelkovic, Sophie Dowling, Lauren Mazzullo, and Katie Rogers were the Co-Chairs. Heather Benn, Wendy Block, Maria Crowley, Ali Fels, Deborah Findley, Christine and Jeff Fortmann, Antoinette Griffith, Debbie Hires, Lisa Hofmeister, Elizabeth Hopley, Helen Jaffe, Stacy Kamisar, Elizabeth Kessler, Sandy Krameisen, Jennifer Miller, Andra Newman, Katy Pagnani, Nancy Plewniak, Whitney Lucas Rosenberg, Tracy Schmidt, Brandy Solinsky, Mina Tulchinsky, Jill Vollmer, Libby Welch, Tracy Wendell, and Lori Zych were the Committee Members.

The Luncheon included a presentation from James R. Baker, CEO and Chief Medical Officer, FARE about the current state of food allergy research, awareness and advocacy.
