FARE Wins Telly Award for Eat Early, Eat Often “Peanuts” PSA

McLEAN, Va. —June 24, 2025FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) today announced its public service announcement (PSA), Eat Early, Eat Often “Peanuts,” has been selected as a Silver winner in the 46th annual Telly Awards in the category of Education and Training. The PSA was developed to educate new parents on the benefits of providing peanut-containing foods early and often to help infants avoid developing a peanut allergy, a leading cause of life-threatening anaphylaxis.

Research, including the landmark LEAP (Learning Early About Peanut Allergy) study, has demonstrated that this strategy can help avoid the development of peanut allergy in approximately 80% of infants. It has also shown promise with egg, another common allergen.

Eat Early, Eat Often “Peanuts” demonstrates the power of training a baby’s immune system to properly recognize peanut protein through early, frequent introduction to peanut-containing foods. The PSA strikes a balance between emotional appeal and scientific credibility, giving parents practical, research-based guidance, allowing them to take proactive steps in a joyful, accessible way.

“We are truly honored to receive this recognition from the Telly Awards for a message that has the power to change lives,” said Sung Poblete, PhD, RN, CEO of FARE, who was the executive producer for the spot. “By educating new parents on the importance of early introduction, we’re helping prevent food allergy, a disease that more than 33 million people in the U.S. live with every day. We hope this work slows the growth of food allergy cases and helps keep children and families safe from this potentially life-threatening disease.”

The Telly Awards broke previous records this year with more than 13,000 entries from around the world. Winners were chosen by The Telly Awards Judging Council, which includes some of the leading marketers in the industry, including Brian Toombs, head of Roku Brand Studio; James Young, EVP, head of creative innovation, BBDO New York; and Gregg Stouffer, lead editor, Pickleball TV.
