Statement from Sung Poblete, PhD, RN, CEO of FARE on the Historic Recognition of Food Allergy in the MAHA Strategy Report
"We applaud the release of the Make Our Children Healthy Again Strategy Report by the Presidential Commission to Make America Health Again (MAHA), which includes food allergy as a priority issue. It is a historic first that food allergy has been recognized by the White House, the highest level of the Executive Branch. This recognition is long overdue, and it is a major step forward toward improving and expanding prevention, research, information, education, and support for those living with food allergies. It reflects an important milestone for the food allergy community, achieved through the collective efforts of many—a community FARE is proud to stand with."
