Statement from FARE on California Senate Bill 68 Being Signed into Law
"Today, California Senate Bill 68, the Allergen Disclosure for Dining Experiences also known as the ADDE Act, has been signed into law. This first-of-its-kind legislation is a meaningful step forward for the more than 33 million Americans who live with food allergy every day.
While the final version of the bill does not reflect all that we had hoped for, we remain committed to working with stakeholders to build on this progress in California and beyond, helping ensure that the food allergy community can dine out with greater safety and confidence wherever they are."
