Director of Public Giving

Director of Public Giving

Reporting to the SVP of Digital Strategy and Public Advancement, the Director of Public Giving is responsible for developing, project managing and executing public giving programs across both online and offline channels. This person will focus on engaging the food allergy community in philanthropically supporting FARE, utilizing both acquisition and cultivation strategies, with a particular interest in the digital space.

As an integral part of the development and digital strategy team, this person will work closely with other members of development, marketing, communications and creative, as well as collaborating across other departments including advocacy, education, research, and health equity.

The Director of Public Giving will have an annual revenue target with a focus on both increasing total philanthropy raised and helping to build a donor pipeline through targeted appeals and acquisition campaigns. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability for creative storytelling to compel people to support FARE’s mission, as well as strong, detail-oriented project management skills to implement, execute, and track/measure initiatives. This person should have strong experience in data analysis and making data-driven strategic decisions.
