This year's Food Allergy Summit starts on Friday, October 31, which can only mean one thing—trick-or-treating!
Pack your costume and come join in our Teal Pumpkin Halloween bash. Families can trick-or-treat as part of our FAREGrounds with lots of fun non-food treat options, plus candy! (And a friendly Switch Witch who can help kids swap between the two.) All candy will be clearly labeled and provided by brands known for their strong commitment to food allergy safety.
The Food Allergy Summit is taking place in Washington, D.C., on October 31–November 1, 2025, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center
With exciting new features, beloved traditions, and an elevated format, this year’s Food Allergy Summit is truly one not to miss. FARE is setting new standards for education, fun, and community by bringing together a diverse group of attendees—including teens, caregivers, adults with food allergy, healthcare professionals, and industry partners.
One of the standout additions this year is FAREGrounds, a vibrant, family-friendly area designed to create joyful and memorable experiences. Families can enjoy our Teal Pumpkin Halloween bash, explore exhibitors showcasing innovative brands and products, or drop by the Author’s Table to meet people sharing their food allergy stories.

OctoberFARE Travel Grant Program
The OctoberFARE Travel Grant Program has been created to ensure more of our community can experience the incredible weekend, despite financial need. The grant is designed for adults and teens with food allergy (teen must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver) who have a need for financial support. The grant covers registration and portions of the travel and lodging costs, depending on the applicant type. Grant recipients under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The deadline to apply is August 22, 2025 (updated date).
We are grateful to DBV for their support of the OctoberFARE Travel Grants.
The Teen Track is Back!
Led by Dr. Melissa Engel and renowned allergy musician and educator Kyle Dine, our Teen Track (ages 12+) programming is packed with connection, confidence-building, and real talk.
And introducing an inaugural Child Track for kids 7-11 years old. Children with food allergy, siblings, friends…all are welcome!

Enjoy Four Top-9, Gluten-Free Meals Onsite
To enhance community and ease, we are hosting all four Food Allergy Summit meals on-site. This intentional change from previous years eliminates the stress of finding food allergen-safe meals during the Summit and allows attendees to focus on connecting with one another. Mealtimes have always been a cornerstone of the event, fostering some of the most meaningful moments for attendees.

Check Out Our Workshop Offerings!
Responding to attendee feedback, we are excited to debut workshops this year. These sessions will encourage greater interaction, creating opportunities for attendees to connect with one another, share experiences, and collaborate.

“I was almost in tears for most of the weekend because I saw how happy and free my daughter was. She had the time of her life and felt safe and seen...Thank you so much for creating a space that made my child feel that she was safe and a part of a welcoming community.”
