Rising Leaders Committee Raises $58K for FARE
The Rising Leaders Committee hosted a fundraiser in New York City that brought together members of its young professional network to expand access and opportunity for individuals with food allergies. The event raised $58,309 to support OctoberFARE scholarships, making it possible for 68 teens with food allergy and their caregivers to attend this life-changing event.
By removing financial barriers, these scholarships ensure the voice of every patient, caregiver, educator, and community leader is represented in the national conversation shaping the future of food allergy.
This milestone reflects the growing impact of young advocates who are not only deeply connected to the food allergy community, but also uniquely positioned to drive change. As professionals, patients, and allies, this generation is mobilizing its networks, resources, and influence to advance inclusion, expand access, and elevate awareness. Their leadership demonstrates the power of collective action and underscores the critical role young adults play in shaping a more equitable, informed, and supportive future for families living with food allergies across the country.
