Parenting a child with food allergy can feel overwhelming and anxiety-inducing for many parents. Yet, learning how to navigate the stress on this parenting journey is also an essential component to keeping children with food allergy safe.

Join us for a webinar on Monday, December 8, at 1:00 p.m. ET, when our expert speaker Tamara Hubbard, MA, LCPC, author of the recent book May Contain Anxiety: Managing the Overwhelm of Parenting Children with Food Allergies, will discuss how to understand and mindfully manage parental anxiety and overwhelm in order to help you and your family balance allergy safety with living fully.

Tamara will discuss content from May Contain Anxiety on topics such as:

  • Insight into the emotional and psychological challenges of allergy parenting, including managing anxiety, dealing with uncertainty, and navigating developmental changes.
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) strategies for accepting discomfort, decreasing overwhelm, and parenting mindfully based on values, not anxiety.
