WEBINAR: Best in Class: Managing Food Allergies in School

In this webinar, the speaker will demonstrate how to provide caregivers with the confidence and knowledge to create a competent and confident relationship with their school, their child, and themselves around food allergies.

August 29, 2022, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET

As a pediatric registered dietitian, and as the mother of a toddler with food allergies, Monica Moreno, MS, RDN, has recognized that navigating early childhood school experiences and beyond can be overwhelming and frightening for many parents and caregivers. In this webinar, Monica will demonstrate how to bridge the fear gap and provide caregivers with the confidence and knowledge to create a competent and confident relationship with their school, their child, and themselves around food allergies.

She will cover nutrition (what kinds of foods/snacks to send to school to adequately nourish a child with food allergies) and how to communicate food allergy risks and education to daycare/school staff and other parents. The goal of the webinar is to leave caregivers feeling confident as they send their child with food allergies to school safely and happily.

FARE is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). CDR Credentialed Practitioners will receive one Continuing Professional Education unit (CPEU) for completion of this course.
