Sesame Allergy Alert: Oliva LLC.

Oliva LLC of Bethlehem, CT is recalling approximately 250 units of Riad’s Oliva to Go Baba Ghanouj, Spicy Baba Ghanouj, and Hummus, because it may contain undeclared sesame. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The recalled products were distributed to gourmet shops and farm markets in Litchfield County CT and Great Barrington, MA areas.

The recalled products are packaged in clear plastic square containers, with a white and green labeling, and best by stamped on side of label.

Product Recalled:

• Riad’s Oliva to Go Baba Ghanouj with best by dates 10/10/26 through 10/14/26
• Riad’s Oliva to Go Spicy Baby Ghanouj with best by dates 10/10-26 through 10/14/26
• Riad’s Oliva to Go Hummus with best by dates 10/12/26 through 10/18/26

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The recall was initiated after an inspection revealed that sesame was not declared on the product ingredient declaration. Our firm has corrected our labeling since discovering this discrepancy.
