Ingredient Notice (Milk): SkinnyPop
SkinnyPop is voluntarily removing its newly launched dairy-containing White Cheddar Popcorn from store shelves due to a potential concern for those with a milk allergy.
The product is labeled correctly, including the ingredient list and allergen information. The decision to remove the dairy-containing product was made in the interest of consumer clarity, as the dairy-containing and dairy-free White Cheddar Popcorn varieties have similar packaging. We want to notify consumers who are managing a milk allergy for awareness and to ensure that everyone is reading the label of the product they are purchasing.
Note that the dairy-containing White Cheddar Popcorn states on the front and back labels “Made with Real Cheese,” and also notes in the ingredient list and “contains” section that it contains milk.
