Sr. Manager of Development & Advancement Operations 

Reporting to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, the Sr. Manager of Development & Advancement Operations will play an essential role helping manage and coordinate the development team and serve as a critical liaison to the rest of the organization; helping to manage and oversee the development CRM database (Salesforce), managing fundraising reporting and analytics, conducting prospect research, coordinating moves management, overseeing stewardship, and guiding fundraising technology decisions. The Sr. Manager of Development & Advancement Operations will work with all donor segments including corporations, individuals, foundations, and major donors.  

The Sr. Manager of Development & Advancement Operations will manage our moves management across the entire development function, including donor prospect research, cultivation, acquisition, and stewardship. This role will help produce insightful reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and help manage our donor pipeline to produce greater fundraising effectiveness and efficiencies for FARE’s Development and Institutional Advancement team.  

The Sr. Manager of Development & Advancement Operations will help work across FARE to ensure that the development function is fully integrated into the organization and that organization-wide functions are working to support the Development and Advancements team, including CRM training and use, stewardship, development communications, gift administration and revenue planning / forecasting. 

To help oversee moves management, the Sr. Manager of Development & Advancement will provide general support to the overall Development team, helping manage department meetings, including the building of agendas and capturing and managing action items for the team to implement.
