Empire State Building Turns Teal
For the third year in a row, the iconic Empire State Building will be lit in teal Sunday night, May 13 to kick off Food Allergy Awareness Week!
As millions of New Yorkers and tourists look up from the streets on May 13, they will be greeted with the sight of the Empire State Building shining in the signature color of food allergies. This represents an incredible opportunity to showcase the importance of food allergy awareness and help others understand the seriousness of this disease nationwide. If you are in the New York City area on May 13th, be sure to take a picture and share on social media with the hashtag #FoodAllergyWeek!
FARE extends its appreciation to the Empire State Building for choosing FARE as an official Lighting Partner and going teal and to the food allergy community for joining in efforts to raise food allergy awareness.
There are over 30 other buildings and bridges across the country that will also be lighting teal to commemorate the occasion. Check this calendar from Turn it Teal to see if there is a building in your area!
