11th Annual FARE Teen Summit
Nov. 11-13, 2016
Hyatt Regency Milwaukee, Wisconsin
FARE’s Annual Teen Summit has been building new and long-lasting friendships for over a decade. Pre-teens and teens ages 11-22, as well as their parents, are invited to attend. There will be sessions specific to food-allergy related issues faced in middle school, high school, and college, plus fun social events and helpful support groups throughout the weekend. Our parents’ track will discuss common challenges parents of teens with food allergies care about and help address parents’ most top-of-mind questions and concerns.
For information about past presentations, check out our 2015 Agenda.
The 11th Annual FARE Teen Summit will be held Nov. 11-13, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You can make your hotel reservations now using FARE’s discounted room block using our special reservation passkey link or by phone at 1-888-421-1442. Book by October 11, 2016 to receive the discounted rate.
Please note that reserving a hotel room does not automatically register you for Teen Summit. You must register for the summit separately. Space is limited and Teen Summit has sold out in the past, so early registration is strongly encouraged!
Teen Summit Scholarship
The Teen Summit Scholarship Program has been created with support from the Natalie Giorgi Sunshine Foundation, in order to provide access to teens who have not previously been able to attend, due to financial limitations associated with summit registration fees and travel costs. Three (3) local scholarships for teens within driving distance to the summit location and one (1) national scholarship (requiring airfare to attend the summit) will be available. All scholarships will cover Teen Summit registration and hotel costs (2 nights at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee) and a meal stipend for selected teens and an accompanying parent/guardian. Additionally, the national scholarship winner will have airfare for two (2) costs covered, to accommodate flight costs for the winning teen and their parent/guardian.
The application deadline is September 15, 2016.
