Food Allergy Research
FARE is the world’s largest private source of funding for food allergy research. For nearly two decades, FARE has sponsored the best and the brightest investigators at major medical centers worldwide. We invest in basic and clinical research to develop new therapies that protect individuals with food allergies against life-threatening reactions, to discover the cause of food allergies, to understand the economic and psychosocial impact of this disease, and, ultimately, to find a cure.
FARE’s research vision is set forth in an ambitious strategic plan, developed in collaboration with world-renowned scientists and food allergy experts. The plan seeks to:
- Develop a strategy and infrastructure that will enable us to rapidly advance clinical research
- Develop the scientific understanding, tools and resources necessary to facilitate research that will build a pipeline of new therapies
- Attract outstanding investigators to the field of food allergy and develop their careers
