Parsley Dumplings

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3 T. shortening
3/4 cup water
Directions
In medium bowl, whisk together flour,
parsley, baking powder, and salt. Cut
in the shortening with a knife or pastry
blender until the mixture resembles fine
crumbs. Stir the water into the flour
mixture until moistened. Dough will
be lumpy. Do not overmix. Drop dough
by large spoonfuls onto the top of boiling
stew. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes;
cover and cook another 10 minutes.
