Ingredients

1 cup flour
1/4 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup vanilla soy beverage
1/4 cup milk-free margarine, melted
1/3 cup raisins
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup water

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 8x8-inch pan. Set aside. In small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, soy beverage, and margarine. Mix until smooth. Spread batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with raisins. Set aside. In small saucepan, over medium heat, bring maple syrup and water to a boil, stirring occasionally. Pour over batter. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.

    My 7 year old daughter is allergic to eggs, nuts, seafood and kiwi. She LOVES this breakfast bake. It is easy to make but it is sweet.
