Flank Steak on Skewers

Ingredients

Marinade
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 T. red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. ginger, minced
1 lb. flank steak

Directions

In small bowl, whisk together soy sauce,
olive oil, honey, garlic, red wine vinegar,
pepper, and ginger. Place steak in glass
dish or large plastic bag; pour marinade
over steak and cover or seal for several
hours or overnight. Preheat grill; cut flank
steak, across the grain, into 1-inch strips.
Thread strips of steaks onto skewers and
place on grill (or broiler). Grill about 3
minutes per side or until steak is cooked to
desired degree.

Note: Most commercial soy sauces contain
wheat, however, read the label for tamari
soy sauce, which is usually wheat-free.
If you cannot find this type at the
grocery store, search online for where to
purchase.
