Ingredients

3 to 4 lbs. baby back, or country-style spareribs
1/2 tsp. salt, optional
1/2 tsp. pepper, optional
2 onions, sliced
16- to 24-oz. bottled barbecue sauce (depending on how saucy you like ribs)*

Directions

Set oven to broil. Place ribs in roasting pan and broil until brown. Slice into serving-size pieces, season, and place in slow cooker. Add onions and barbecue sauce. Cover. Cook on low 6 hours.

*Read the label on bottled barbecue sauce.
