Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bars

Ingredients
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup milk-free margarine, softened
2 1/2 cups quick oats
1 cup flour
3 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 small Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease 13x9-inch pan. Set aside. In large bowl, with electric mixer, cream together brown sugar and margarine until smooth. Beat in oats, flour, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Fold in applesauce and apples. Pat mixture into prepared pan. Bake 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan, and cut into bars.
