Vita Food Products Inc. is recalling “Elf Branded Herring in Sour Cream” due to undeclared wheat.
The product was distributed in retail stores in California, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.
The product is in two sizes: 12-oz. with UPC 0-73302-22111-4 and 8-oz. with UPC 0-73302-23111-3, both with “Best if Used Before” 12/APR/10 or earlier.
