Soy and Fish Allergy Alert (Update) - Shuckman's Fish Co.

Shuckman’s Fish Co. is recalling “Mooney’s Kentucky Bourbon Cheese” and “Valumarket Beer Cheese Spread” due to undeclared soy and fish. This alert was originally sent on Jan. 31 for undeclared soy only; on Feb. 2, the company expanded the recall to add undeclared fish.

The products were sold in retail stores in Kentucky.  

The recall affects the following products:

  • “Mooney’s Kentucky Bourbon Cheese,” packaged in an 8-oz. plastic container with following lot codes and “Sell By” dates:  Lot 010511 Sell By 04/05/2011; Lot 012111, Sell By 04/19/11; UPC 8 28260 10038 0
  •  “ValuMarket Beer Cheese Spread,” packaged in an 8-oz. plastic container with the following lot codes and “Sell By” dates: Lot 91610 Sell by 11-16-2010; Lot 92810 Sell By 11-28-10; Lot 101810 Sell By 12-18-2010; Lot 102210 Sell By 12-22-10; Lot 111210 Sell By 01/12/11; Lot 112610 Sell By 01/26/11; Lot 121310 Sell By 03/13/11; Lot 011411 Sell By 04/14/11; Lot 011711 Sell By 04/17/2011; UPC 0 28260 12501 1.
