Peanut Allergy Alert: Xymogen

Xymogen® is recalling three varieties of “OrganiX Bars” (Omega 3, Spice, and Greens) due to undeclared peanut.  

The products were distributed nationwide through mail orders between Aug. 4, 2010, and April 19, 2011, in boxes containing 12 (50g) bars. Lot codes can be found on the individual bar wrappers and on the upper left side of the retail carton printed in white ink. 

The products affected by the recall are identified as follows:

  • Spice, UPC 8 7114900161 2, Lots1072110 and 2072110, expiration date 21-Jul-11.
  • Greens, UPC 8 7114900162 9, Lots 4072110 and 5072110, expiration date 21-Jul-11.
  • Omega-3, UPC 8 7114900163 6, Lot 1083110, expiration date 31-Aug-11.
