This year, we will be offering multiple tracks so that participants can attend sessions of interest to them, such as:
Food Allergy 101 for the Newly Diagnosed, where a physician will discuss the emotional aspect of a new diagnosis, as well as offer practical tips
Letting Go and Facing New Challenges, where a child psychiatrist will discuss the challenges of letting go and moving on during the school year, and traveling without parents
Epinephrine Auto-Injector Training with EpiPen and Twinject, where grandparents, nannies, and babysitters can learn how to administer epinephrine.
RegistrationThe registration fee includes the all-day conference, lunch, refreshment breaks, and educational materials. Hotel accommodations, parking, and other meals are not included. |

Understanding the Severity of Living with Food Allergies, where grandparents, nannies, and babysitters will gain a better understanding of food allergies and anaphylaxis and the importance of their role in helping to ensure the safety of a child who has food allergies.
We will continue to offer special sessions for nurses and registered dietitians this year, and we will be expanding the sessions we offer for teens and parents of teens to include afternoon discussion groups, in addition to the popular networking lunch that we offer to these attendees.

Who Should Attend?
The meetings are particularly useful for anyone who has a food allergy or cares for someone who has a food allergy. This includes parents, grandparents, and caregivers of children with food allergies, as well as health care professionals, registered dietitians, teachers, and school staff. There are special sessions for teens (ages 11 and up), parents of teens, nurses, and registered dietitians. So mark your calendars, and join FAAN and others like you who are living with food allergies, for a day of learning and networking!
