2010 Resources

In 1997, FAAN created Food Allergy Awareness Week to educate others about food allergies, a potentially life threatening medical condition.

Help spread the word about the 13th annual Food Allergy Awareness Week (FAAW), May 9-15, 2010. This year, help those with food allergies “Respect Every Bite.”

FAAN has gone green for FAAW this year. All materials are available online.

The following states have formally recognized FAAW: Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the lead institute at the National Institutes of Health for food allergy research, is also a supporter of Food Allergy Awareness Week, and they created an e-card to be sent in honor of Food Allergy Awareness Week. Please send the e-card to your friends!
