Support Groups

Whether you are new to food allergy or facing a new milestone in your child's life, meeting other families who are in the same situation and sharing experiences and support can be so helpful. More importantly, you understand that you are not alone.

To help you connect with a group in your area, FAAN offers local contact information for support groups across the country. Contact the group directly to find out about the group's activities. The inclusion of a group on this voluntary listing does not imply endorsement by FAAN. Be sure to contact your doctor if you have any questions or before making any changes to your child's diet.

If you are a support group leader and would like to add your support group information to the FAAN Web site, contact us by e-mail. Be aware that FAAN is not responsible for any contact, private or commercial, that you may receive from posting your support group information.

If you don't see a support group in your area and want to start one, send us an e-mail for strategies for starting a support and education group.

As always, feel free to contact FAAN if you have any questions or if we can be of any help to you and your family. Remember, we're all in this together. Until there's a cure, education is the key!
