Advocacy Issues

FARE advocates for a better and safer life for our community at the federal and state level.

Labeling Medicine for Allergens and Gluten

The medicine that we take to make us well shouldn’t make us sick. FARE is working to pass the ADINA Act that will label all medicine for the top-nine allergens and gluten.

Making Our States Safer

Over the past three years, FARE has helped pass 14 new state laws to improve the lives of more than 6.5 million food allergy families. We are fighting to make childcare centers, schools, and restaurants safer.

Reducing the Cost of Epinephrine Auto-Injectors

FARE has helped pass epinephrine auto-injector price cap laws in a handful of states and is supporting the federal EPIPEN Act, a bill to limit the out-of-pocket cost for epinephrine auto-injectors at $60.
